Heads up before we get into it, Nomsters: this one’s a paid partnership with Uncharted. That said, you already know I only team up with places I’d actually send you to, and this one made it easy, because there are SO many cute things packed into this store, it’s kind of ridiculous. Uncharted is a new lifestyle and gift shop that opened over at Festival at Riva in Annapolis, and it’s the sister brand of The Paper Store, so if you’ve ever lost an hour wandering one of those, you already get the vibe. Think a treasure hunt of fashion, jewelry, home decor, beauty, trending toys, and gifts all under one roof, plus fun little in-store experiences. If you love a good browse-and-discover kind of shop, or you’re always on the hunt for the perfect gift, Uncharted Annapolis is worth a trip. Let me put you on.

What Is Uncharted, Exactly?
It’s a discovery-style lifestyle store from the same family-owned company behind The Paper Store (they’ve been at this since 1964). The whole idea is a curated, always-changing mix of stuff you didn’t know you needed, less “one category” and more “ooh, what’s over here.” So instead of just a card-and-candle shop, you get fashion and jewelry sitting near home decor, beauty, viral candy, and the kind of cute gifts that make you go “oh, so-and-so would love this.” It’s newer to Maryland, and the Annapolis location is one of two that just landed in the state (there’s also one in Columbia).
What You’ll Find at Uncharted Annapolis
The Gifts and Cute Stuff
This is the heart of it and where I could do the most damage. It’s wall-to-wall giftable finds, from Jellycat plushies to trending toys to viral candy, the kind of stuff that’s perfect for a birthday, a little treat-yourself moment, or grabbing something on the way to a party. This is the section that best captures the “so many cute things” energy.
Fashion, Jewelry, and Accessories
Beyond the gifts, they carry a genuinely fun lineup of apparel, jewelry, and accessories, with names you know like Free People, Birkenstock, Kendra Scott, Vera Bradley, Bogg, and Stanley. So it’s a real one-stop if you want to pick up an outfit piece, a gift, and a new water bottle in a single loop of the store.

The In-Store Experiences
This is what pushes it past a normal gift shop for me. Uncharted does in-store experiences like ear piercing, a jewelry charm bar where you build your own piece, and an engraving machine so you can personalize things like a water bottle. It turns a quick errand into an actual little outing, which is exactly the kind of thing I love telling you guys about. If you’re into that hands-on stuff, it’s the same appeal as the charm bar over at Simply the Best in Ellicott City, another cute shop where you can make something your own.
The Vibe
The energy is bright, playful, and very easy to lose track of time in, part boutique, part gift shop, part “what is THIS.” It’s great for gift hunting, a fun browse with a friend, or treating yourself to a small something, and there’s enough range that you can bring someone who “doesn’t really shop” and they’ll still find a corner they like. It’s a lovely add-on to a day around Annapolis, and it slots right in with the other fun little shops I love, like Third Eye Comics across town.

If you love a good gift shop or a browse-and-discover kind of store, it’s absolutely worth a visit. It’s fun, it’s packed with cute finds, and the little extras like the charm bar and engraving make it more of an experience than a quick errand. It’s an easy yes for gift hunting, a friend date, or a solo date around Annapolis. If you’re making a whole day of it, Reynold’s Tavern is another Annapolis spot worth working in for afternoon tea.
So that’s Uncharted, Nomsters, my new go-to for when you want to “just look” and end up finding all kinds of things. Have you guys been in yet, and what did you find? Let me know in the comments, and save this for the next time you need a gift (or an excuse to treat yourself).
