Finally tried the viral pistachio latte at Shotted in Annapolis Mall!
After seeing everyone on Instagram rave about Shotted’s pistachio latte, I had to swing by and see what the hype was all about. Located right inside Annapolis Mall at 2002 Annapolis Mall Rd, Shotted recently opened its first Maryland location, bringing its Saudi-inspired specialty coffee concept to the area.
Shotted isn’t just your average mall coffee stop though – they offer bold, creative drinks, quality espresso and fun dessert bites. They’ve come a long way from their beginnings as a pop-up cart, and are now known for premium espresso drinks!
Is it worth the hype?!
Short answer, yes, it’s every bit as yummy as the internet made it sound. Rich, creamy, nutty, and smooth… definitely delicious BUT it’s a bit pricy for me. I got a regular for $6.50, which ended up being about $8–9 with tax + tip. For me personally, it was worth trying once, but I’d say it’s definitely a treat and not a daily go-to.
While you’re making a trip out to Annapolis, it’s SO worth tacking on a visit to the Banneker-Douglass-Tubman Museum, a free African American history museum in the historic district that is one of the most underrated spots in the city.
While I only tried the pistachio latte during this visit, they also have other drinks red velvet lattes, Spanish lattes, nitro teas (hibiscus & peach), soft serve with toppings, and more. Definitely let me know what you think if you guys go.
