This may be the cutest dessert shop I’ve been to in a minute, lol. Walking into Pop Scoops Dough feels like stepping straight into sunshine. Everything is bright yellow, cheerful, and ridiculously Instagrammable. It’s the kind of spot that immediately puts you in a good mood.
I first stopped by after work with Minje, and we were both instantly obsessed with the vibes. Mini donuts, soft serve, ice cream, popcorn in a million flavors… this family-owned business is basically dessert heaven wrapped up in the happiest color palette imaginable.
The only thing they don’t make in house is the ice cream itself, but the way they dress it up with toppings and mix-ins still makes it a delight. Everything else? Made in-house and as cute as can be.
What I Tried…
I really wanted to try their mango lassi soft serve, but they were out that day (heartbreaking, I know). So we pivoted and grabbed a half dozen mini donuts ($9) and a biscoff cookie sundae (also $9). Both were super tasty, the donuts were almost too cute to eat and the sundae came fully decked out in toppings. The ice cream base may not be made in-house, but trust me, they make it fun.
Additional notes you should keep in mind:
- They offer various matcha drinks, and the cookies & cream matcha sounded amazing. I skipped it only because I had already over-caffeinated, lol.
- You can sample different popcorn flavors – highly recommend trying the chocolate popcorn because it was so good.
How to Visit
Pop Scoops Dough is located in a small strip mall right next to MOM’s Organic Market, which means parking is easy peasy (music to my ears). ALSO, if you manage to get your hands on the mango lassi soft serve, PLEASE report back. Do I need to go back for it immediately?! I neeed to know.
