Haiiii Nomsters! Be excited because today we’re talkin’ about must try donuts in Baltimore! If you haven’t experienced Dulceology’s mind-blowing noms yet, you’re seriously missing out. And in case you were wondering, their donuts really do live up to the hype. Don’t ask me why I waited so long to try ’em because I don’t have a good answer for you.
SO to start, let’s talk cronuts. I got one of each flavor because life’s short, and I deserve all the donuts, lol. FYI, their flavors rotate so I’m not sure when these will be available again. When I went, I got their churro, vanilla, rose berry, and mango. They were all fantastic, but the churro was my favorite by far.
Personally, I’m not big into fruit fillings, but these were quite lovely – both the rose berry and mango were filled. The only one that I didn’t *love* was the vanilla because it was a touch too sweet for me, but again, still good, lol.
NOW, onto their chocolate brioche donut. I don’t throw this phrase around lightly, but this thing was lifechanging, no, life-TRANSFORMING, lol. It was as if the universe conspired to create the perfect blend of dreamy brioche and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate mousse. I can’t even deal with how ridiculously tasty it was!
In regards to pricing, the eats here are pricey but worth every penny IMO! At $4.35 per pop, these donuts are more expensive than your usual, BUT they’re big so I feel like that makes up for it. Plus, they’re just so good. Like my mouth is watering as I write this, just thinking about their brioche magic.
If you’d rather go big without the higher price tag, Geresbeck’s in Middle River bakes theirs just as massive for only $1.19 a pop.
And in case you’re interested, they also offer lots of other Latin treats as well. As for their store, it’s cozy but super cute – they have two tables inside so you can gobble up your goodies right then and there if you’re not in a hurry. And the exterior’s pink so you can’t miss it!
NOTE: they sell out pretty often and quickly so if you want, you can preorder your nomz ahead of time on their website. Have you made your way to Dulceology yet? Drop a comment below and tell me about YOUR favorite donuts in Baltimore.
If you’re still on the hunt, I’ve got a full review of Diablo Doughnuts in Nottingham for more Baltimore County creativity, and Fractured Prune in Ocean City is a boardwalk staple for made-to-order flavors if you ever take the trip out to the beach.
