Blue Moon Cafe: The Ultimate Brunch Experience in Baltimore

January 19, 2024

Are you a brunch lover searching for the ultimate dining experience in Baltimore? Look no further than Blue Moon Cafe! This foodie gem has been creating buzz in the city’s culinary scene for its unique and flavor-packed brunch creations.

I visited Blue Moon with Minje Suh, and we were blown away by everything we got. Here’s an overview of our experience, along with my top recommendations for anyone looking to indulge:

Cap’n Crunch French Toast

If you only try one dish at Blue Moon Cafe, it has to be their iconic Cap’n Crunch French Toast. This $20 dish is a feast for the senses, from the golden brown coating of crunchy cereal to the vibrant colors of various fruits and whipped cream that top it off.

Pro tip: try it without syrup first, and you might find that you don’t need it at all! This dish is hands down one of the best French Toasts I’ve ever had, and a must-try item for anyone and everyone.

Spicy Crab, Tomatoes & Pepper Jack Omelette

$30 may seem expensive for an omelette, but it’s STUFFED with jumbo lump crab meat. It’s seasoned with spicy Spanish herbs, resulting in a kick of heat that perfectly complements the flavors of the crab and cheese. To take this dish to the next level, pair it with Blue Moon’s crispy hash browns for the ultimate savory brunch option. This omelette was undoubtedly divine, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Sin Roll

Whether you’re full or not, this is a must, no ifs, ands or buts. Priced at $7.50, this is the size of a small child’s head, lol. Think soft, warm, and topped with copious amounts of icing and cinnamony goodness. It’s easy to see why it’s one of Blue Moon’s signature dishes!

Now, get here EARLY, especially if you’re coming on a weekend. It gets packed, like the waitlist can last for 1-2 hours so consider yourself warned. They have two locations in Baltimore, but the spot shown in my reel’s at the Fed Hill location. Def make sure you go, and let me know what you think when you do!
