If you’re like me and can never resist an Indian buffet, then Mint Room in Ellicott City is a must-visit. I went for the first time not too long ago, and I’m excited to give you a taste of what to expect:
At $19 per person, Mint Room’s lunch buffet may seem slightly pricier, but trust me, the variety of options makes it worth every penny. From chili fish to lamb biryani and butter chicken, the selection of proteins will leave you completely and utterly satisfied.
The menu may vary from day to day, but I think that makes it all the more exciting since there’s always going to be something new to try, lol. And if you’re vegetarian, there are *lots* of options for you available there! As an added bonus, Mint Room includes piping hot chai with their lunch buffet. I love how fragrant it is, and it’s the perfect cold weather bevvie.
In addition to yum food, the ambiance is really lovely. The interior’s pretty, and the atmosphere & service is warm and welcoming. I had a great experience at Mint Room, and I’d absolutely go back. Have you guys tried their buffet yet? How does it compare to other Indian spots in the area? Definitely let me know by leaving a comment below, Nomsters!
If you want to branch out beyond buffets, Clove & Cardamom over in Columbia is another Indian kitchen I’d point you to, and Tikkaville in Nottingham is a solid halal option on the Pakistani side of South Asian cuisine.
