Kako Claw Arundel Mills: The Best Claw Machine Arcade

March 5, 2026

If you’ve ever walked past a claw machine and thought “yeah right, those are rigged,” I NEED you to give Kako Claw Arundel Mills a chance. This place just opened at Arundel Mills, and honestly, it’s the most fun I’ve had at an arcade in a minute.

The claw machines here actually feel winnable (not impossible like questionable ones at random places, lol), and the prize selection is absolutely adorable. Think giant Snorlax plushies, anime figures, trendy blind boxes, and so many cute characters you’ll want to win them all.

I’m no stranger to Kako Claw, so when they opened their Hanover location, I had to check it out. The team was incredibly welcoming when they hosted us, and I walked out with the biggest Snorlax who now permanently lives on my couch. Zero regrets.

What Makes Kako Claw Arundel Mills Special

Here’s the thing about Kako Claw that sets it apart from every other claw machine spot: these games are actually skill-based, not just pure luck. The claws have decent grip strength, and the prizes are positioned fairly. I’m not saying you’ll win every single time, but it doesn’t feel like you’re throwing money away either.

The prize selection is too cute. We’re talking rows and rows of machines filled with plushies in every size, blind boxes from trending collections, keychains, and seasonal characters. Whether you’re into Pokémon, anime, or just ridiculously cute stuffed animals, there’s definitely something here calling your name. And if you’re into delicious Mediterranean food, Prino’s is just down the road for a post-arcade meal!

How Kako Claw Works

The pricing system is super straightforward. It’s $1 per token, and most machines take 2 tokens per play (though some are 1 token and others are 3, depending on the prize size). There’s a $10 minimum purchase to get started, but if you’re planning to really go for it, they offer token packages that give you bonus tokens. For example, spend $50 and get 55 tokens, or go big with $100 for 120 tokens.

Here’s my favorite part: the trade-up program. If you win a bunch of smaller prizes but really have your eye on one of those GIANT plushies, you can trade in your wins for bigger prizes. That’s literally how I ended up with my massive Snorlax, lol. I won a few medium-sized plushies and traded up. It’s such a smart system and makes the whole experience feel even more rewarding.

Pro tip from personal experience: go for prizes that are closest to the chute! They’re positioned there for a reason, and your success rate will be SO much higher. I learned this the hard way after a few attempts at prizes that were buried in the back.

The Vibe at Kako Claw Arundel Mills

The atmosphere here is honestly just pure fun. It’s bright, colorful, and has this energetic buzz from people actually winning and getting excited. The space is clean and well-organized, with machines lined up so you can easily browse what you want to play for. The staff is super friendly and helpful too. If you’re new to claw machines or need tips on a specific game, they’re happy to help.
