…and their $80 wagyu prix fixe is worth it!
I recently checked out Ingle Korean Steakhouse’s new DC location, and I had such a great experience. A huge thank you to their team for hosting us – everything from food to the service made it a memorable night.
We went with their $80 dinner prix fixe, and it felt like a full experience from start to finish. Here’s everything that’s included:
- Four different cuts of American Wagyu
- A welcome dish (pumpkin porridge)
- One side and one appetizer per two people
- Two main dishes
- Two desserts
The Wagyu!!!!!

The star of the night was, of course, the Wagyu. The prix fixe includes four different cuts of American Wagyu, and each one was beautifully marbled and incredibly tender. Cooking it tableside always makes the experience more interactive and fun, and our server was a GRILLMASTER.
…Everything Else…
In addition to our KBBQ meats, here’s what we got:
- Mushrooms: These were savory and a perfect pairing with the beef.
- Scallion Pancake: This was SO good. It was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and had just the right balance of scallion flavor + plentiful shrimpies inside.
- Jjamppong: This spicy seafood noodle soup wasn’t my favorite dish of the evening – it was just ok.
- Doenjang Jjigae: This soybean paste stew was super comforting. It had that deep, umami flavor that just warms you up from the inside out.
- Misugaru Tiramisu: This was ridiculously good. The roasted grain flavor gave it a nutty, slightly toasty twist that made it stand out from traditional tiramisu.
- Bingsu: Also ridiculously good, lol. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, and it was the perfect sweet ending after a rich meal.
The ambiance at the new DC location is sleek but still comfortable. It feels upscale without being stuffy, which makes it great for date night, celebrations, or even a nicer dinner with friends.
If you want a more casual Korean night out in DC, Mandu DC runs a daily happy hour from 5 to 7PM with Korean fried chicken, budae jjigae, and fun bar bites.

Our server, Ten, was amazing. He was extremely attentive and genuinely enhanced the experience. If you go, definitely ask for him. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Ingle’s new location, and I’d definitely go back! Let me know what you think if you go, Nomsters.
