If you haven’t been to Hunan Manor in Columbia, MD yet, make sure to add them to your list because they’re a must visit. And remember to ask for both American + Chinese menus – their Chinese menu’s where it’s at IMO. If you need help, the servers are super nice and are happy to assist if you have any questions.
SO, here’s what I got:
▪️beef chow fun (dry)
▪️salt and pepper pork chop
▪️Eggplant Hong Kong Style (WOW, this was the best eggplant dish I’ve had in a LONG time)
▪️Szechuan Family Chicken
Everything was good, but the eggplant? I give it a 100/10, and it’s high key something I crave on the regular. The beef chow fun was also reallllly good… and same with the salt and pepper pork. The Szechuan chicken was packed with flavor (like all their food) but it’s a little challenging to eat (lots of bones) so just giving you guys a heads up in case that’s not your jam.
I’m very excited to eat through everything, lol. I’m planning to try all of the dishes listed on their Chinese menu. Note: If you get takeout from here, they have a separate section for it to keep things organized and efficient. Have you guys been to this place yet? Would love to hear your thoughts if so.
If you’re making a Columbia food day out of it, Dok Khao Thai in the Merriweather District is another must on the list, especially for the khao soi.
