The London Broil at Bon Fresco Is a “Everyday” Sandwich (…and I Mean That)
Real talk, I could eat this sandwich every day. Bon Fresco’s London Broil is SO freaking good. We’re talking charbroiled medium-rare steak, dijonnaise, provolone, mixed greens, and onions on freshly baked ciabatta – a perfect savory, juicy, tangy combo that just hits every time.
I usually go to their Columbia location, but they have a few spots around the area. If you haven’t had this yet, consider this your sign because I promise, it won’t disappoint.
While you’re exploring the Columbia lunch scene, Bi Bi Cafeteria is another solid stop, a woman-owned deli counter in an office park on Centre Park Drive serving cheesesteaks, buffalo tenders, and wraps at very fair prices.
What I Order at Bon Fresco
- London Broil Sandwich – medium-rare steak + dijonnaise + provolone + greens + onions on house-baked ciabatta. Price: $12.55 (and worth every penny).
- Half & Half Deal – ½ sandwich + ½ soup for $9.75 (the London Broil has an $0.80 upcharge – still a steal IMO).
Don’t Skip the Soup
Their Spicy Peanut soup is next-level – super flavorful with that craveable savory-spicy depth. It’s one of those “think about it later” soups. Try it and thank me later. I also hear amazing things about their tomato soup. I have yet to try it though because I just can’t quit the spicy peanut.
