Hey Nomsters! If you’re like me and have a *massive* sweet tooth, you need to check out Fresh Bakery stat. Located in Owings Mills, I can pretty much guarantee that this hidden gem will satisfy alllll your dessert cravings. So, here’s what I got:
And if you want something savory before you get to dessert, Cheesesteak & Co. just opened their second location in Owings Mills with ribeye cheesesteaks on Amoroso rolls, smashburgers, and more.
- 4 square-shaped cupcakes ($14): They had both classic flavors and daily specials on offer! There was so much to choose from, but I ultimately went with chocolate, coconut, strawberry, and almond. My personal fave was the almond, but their other desserts kind of stole the show.
- Sweet Potato Pie ($3.75): This was AMAZING! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite made me want more. I definitely want to get their other options as well next time. I also loved the size of each one! They were cute and liddol so great for a single serving =)
- Banana Pudding ($7.25): this was outstanding! I’ve always loved Magnolia’s banana pudding best, but I think I enjoyed Fresh Bakery’s version more. Yah, fighting words but I said what I said, lol.
Additional Notes:
- Fresh Bakery is known for their unique square-shaped desserts! Let’s just say, it was my first time trying a square shaped cupcake, lol.
- They pride themselves on only using natural ingredients and baking everything from scratch.
- Don’t miss out on their custom cakes, which are famously known for their elaborate designs. They have some on display at the store, and I was seriously impressed.
