Okay Nomsters, I need a second because I’m genuinely still shooketh. Double Bunny’s chunky chocolate chip is probably one of the best cookies I’ve ever had in my entire life, and that is not an exaggeration. Not top five for the week. Top five ever!
Double Bunny’s a Baltimore-based pop-up bakery run by Jiaqi Deng, and she’s turning out these massive, almost-half-pound gourmet cookies (plus bubble tea) that you pre-order and pick up at the Fells Point Farmers Market. She sent over her new fall lineup for me to try, and every single one was so good that picking a favorite was kind of impossible. If you love a proper, hefty, bakery-style cookie, this Baltimore gem needs to be on your radar. Here’s everything I got and what you gotta order first.

What Makes Double Bunny a Standout Baltimore Bakery
So here’s the deal with Double Bunny. There’s no brick and mortar (yet), which means it runs more like a ghost kitchen, everything’s handmade, and it started out as a farmers market baking venture. It centers on two things done really well, giant gourmet cookies and classically brewed bubble tea.
And when I say giant, I’m not exaggerating for effect. These cookies are around half a pound EACH. That’s not a cookie, that’s a whole dessert situation. What sets Double Bunny apart from your average sweet stop isn’t just the size though. The flavors rotate with the seasons, so the fall menu reads like a cozy autumn dream, and the quality’s there in every single bite. If you’re building a list of Baltimore’s best desserts, this one earns a spot easy.
What to Order at Double Bunny
The fall lineup had six cookies and I tried every one, lol. Here’s what to know before you order, and yes, they’re all around $5 to $6 each.
Chunky Chocolate Chip ($5-6)
This is THE one. Like I said up top, this might be one of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten, and I don’t say that lightly. At around half a pound, it’s a serious cookie, and it hits every note a chocolate chip cookie’s supposed to hit. If you order nothing else, order this. No notes, no caveats, just get it!

Sweet Corn Cookie Crunch ($5-6)
My other top pick, and OMG, sweet corn in a cookie just works! It made my top two alongside the chunky chocolate chip, which should tell you everything. If you like a flavor that’s a bit different and want something you can’t grab just anywhere, this is your move.
Brown Butter Chocolate Crunch ($5-6)
Brown butter and chocolate is a combo I always want, and this one’s part of a fall lineup that genuinely didn’t have a weak link. Picking just two favorites out of the six was tough, because every cookie delivered.
The rest of the fall lineup, all worth grabbing while they’re around:
- Toasted Maple Pancake
- Sweet Potato Casserole
- Pumpkin Spice Dark Chocolate
Double Bunny also does classically brewed bubble tea, which is right there in the name, so grab a drink to go with your cookie haul.
Where to Find Double Bunny in Baltimore
Since there’s no storefront yet, the most reliable way to get your cookies is to pre-order for Saturday pickup at the Fells Point Farmers Market, which runs every Saturday morning down at 800 S Broadway by Thames Street. Because it’s a pop-up, the smartest move is to follow @bmoredoublebunny on Instagram to catch where she’s popping up next and to lock in your pre-order before flavors sell out.
You can also see the full menu and order through their website. Vendors at the market rotate week to week, so pre-ordering is really the way to guarantee you actually go home with cookies.
The Real Win: A Small Baltimore Baker Worth Rooting For
Beyond the cookies themselves, this is exactly the kind of spot I love telling you guys about. Jiaqi’s the owner, and she’s honestly one of the sweetest humans, building something from scratch without a permanent storefront and doing it all by hand.
When you buy from a pop-up like this, you’re not grabbing a mass-produced cookie off a shelf, you’re supporting a real local baker who’s pouring everything into her craft. That’s the whole reason I do what I do. Baltimore’s got such a good little dessert scene too, from chimney cakes at Buns & Roses to these giant cookies, and Double Bunny fits right in.

The Vibe and Experience
Since Double Bunny sets up at the Fells Point market right now, the vibe’s very much a chill Saturday morning by the water. The market’s free to wander, there’s usually live acoustic music going, and you’re right in the heart of historic Fells Point with the harbor a block away. It makes for a lovely little morning, so pre-order your cookies, grab a bubble tea while you’re there, and take your time. It’s great for families, a solo treat run, or a low-key weekend hang with someone you like.

Would I Go Back to Double Bunny?
YES, and I’ll be first in line for that chunky chocolate chip! For a pop-up with no storefront, Double Bunny’s putting out cookies that go toe to toe with anything in the city, and at $5 to $6 for a half-pound cookie, the value’s genuinely there. If you’re a serious cookie person, this one’s a must. And if you’re building out a Baltimore dessert crawl, pair it with a slice of chocolate chess pie from B-More Pies, another local sweet spot that’s worth the trip.
Have you guys tried Double Bunny yet, or is this your first time hearing about it? Let me know in the comments which flavor you’re eyeing, Nomsters, and if you’ve got a friend who takes their cookies as seriously as I do, do them a favor and send this their way.
