NEW(ish, lol) TO CATONSVILLE‼️ have you guys been to DimSum Palace yet? Located in the One Mile West shopping center, they’ve been open since June, and they’re known for their dim sum (duh 😝) and Cantonese cuisine.
The restaurant itself is very clean! The interior’s spacious, and the decor’s on the more modern side. They open at 11am daily, they offer dim sum ‘til 2:30. They have all the traditional offerings + options like black truffle shrimp dumpling (super yum), baked Portuguese egg tart, and more! They also have lunch specials if that’s more your jam.
The service is great, and the waitstaff’s attentive, but FYI, there are certain items you need to order vs grab from the cart. They get SUPER busy on weekends so make sure you go early if you can because there’s usually a line (from what I hear).
I haven’t had a chance to try any of their regular menu items yet, but the dim sum I’ve gotten was solid! I’m just glad to see there’s another nom dim sum spot available in HoCo – the more the merrier IMO, lol. Let me know what you guys think if you go, Nomsters.
And if you’re willing to drive a little further into Baltimore County, Asian Court in Owings Mills is another Cantonese dim sum option worth knowing about.
Speaking of more dim sum options in Maryland, Mai Dragon in Hanover is a must if you’re in Anne Arundel County, with traditional cart service and a full Cantonese menu.
