I am SO excited to finally share this one with you, Nomsters. If you’re a wing lover (or honestly just a lover of good food), you should to know about CR Wings, now open in Perry Hall after serving Bel Air for over 30 years. Yep, this family-owned spot knows what they’re doing.
From juicy wings to loaded cheesesteaks and even funnel cake fries, this place has something for everyone. I went in hungry and left very, very happy.
If you love funnel cake fries and loaded comfort food, Killa Dogz on Belair Road is doing gourmet hot dogs in NE Baltimore with that same fun, indulgent energy. And if classic pit beef and American BBQ are more your thing, Andy Nelson’s BBQ in Cockeysville is a Baltimore County institution just a short drive north that has been feeding the area for decades.
What I Ordered (…and Loved):
- Wings (8-Piece + Fries Combo – $13.99): Let’s start with the star of the show. CR Wings has 26 different sauces to choose from, which honestly feels illegal in the best way possible. I tried Hot and Gold Rush, and both were chef’s kiss. The wings were big, juicy, and perfectly crispy – exactly what you want when you’re craving wings.
- Philly Cheesesteak Sub ($12.99): This one surprised me in the best way. They don’t skimp on the meat, and I love that they mix in sweet peppers and onions for extra flavor. You can also swap for hot peppers if you’re feeling bold.
- Chicken Rice Bowl ($11.99): This is one of their newer menu items and it’s made with halal chicken – love to see it. Comforting, filling, and flavorful. Next time, I’m definitely going heavier on the white and red sauce because… why not?
- Big Dipper Burger ($13.99): A burger topped with crab dip AND melted cheddar? Say less. You can even add extra crab dip for $1.99, and honestly… you should.
- Funnel Cake Fries ($6.49): Save room for dessert because these were SO good. Warm, fluffy, sweet. I’m a sucker for funnel cake and these absolutely delivered.
CR Wings is constantly rolling out new menu items, so there’s always something fresh to try. They also have a loyalty program that lets you earn rewards toward future orders, plus a flat $5 delivery fee when you order directly through their site.

If you’re feeding a crowd, they’ve got plenty of catering options to make life easy. And for my fellow spice lovers… there’s an off-menu wing sauce called Darkness, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten.
CR Wings is one of those spots that hits every time – whether you’re craving wings, a loaded sandwich, or just something indulgent and comforting. If you’re in the Perry Hall area (or nearby), this one deserves a spot on your must-try list. Have you been yet?! Let me know in the comments, Nomsters 🫶
