Copper Canyon Grill at Arundel Mills was my first visit, and you guys, I walked away pretty impressed, especially for the price and the sheer amount of food. This is a polished American grill where the portions are massive, the ribs fall right off the bone, and one entree can easily turn into a meal for two. If you’re shopping at Arundel Mills and want a real sit-down dinner instead of a food-court run, this is the move. Come hungry, because you’re leaving with leftovers either way.

What Makes Copper Canyon Grill Worth Knowing
The draw here is value that actually holds up. It’s a solid American grill known for its rotisserie chicken and fall-off-the-bone ribs, and the portions are big enough to share or take home without the quality tanking, which isn’t always a given at a mall-adjacent spot. The menu goes well beyond ribs too, slow-roasted prime rib, hand-cut steaks, hardwood-grilled trout, jumbo lump crab cakes, and some seriously loaded pastas and salads. There are four Maryland locations (Arundel Mills, Gaithersburg, Silver Spring, and Glenarden), and I went to the Hanover one. If you’re exploring more of the area, another go-to of mine in Hanover is Little Spice for Thai food.
What to Order at Copper Canyon Grill
Here’s what I got on my visit, and what I’d steer you toward.
BBQ Ribs
The headliner, full stop. On my visit it was around $32 for a massive plate: nice smoky flavor, ribs so tender they fall right off the bone, plus great coleslaw and perfectly crispy fries. The kitchen’s known for its rotisserie and ribs, so you’re in good hands ordering either one.

Fiesta Eggrolls
Start here. The eggrolls are a solid opener, but the dipping sauce is the real star, the kind you keep going back to even after the eggrolls are gone.
Rattlesnake Pasta
If you’ve got a bigger group, this one’s built for it. It comes loaded with huge chunks of rotisserie chicken and easily feeds two IMO, so it’s a great way to stretch the value even further.
Does Copper Canyon Grill Have Happy Hour?
It does, and it’s a good one. Their Social Hour runs Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30pm, at the bar and cocktail tables, so it’s an easy way to try the place without a full dinner tab. The Arundel Mills location also does a weekly Sushi Night on Wednesdays if you want to mix it up. You can see the current Social Hour menu on their site before you go.
The Vibe and Experience
It’s a comfortable sit-down grill, good for family dinners, groups, or a low-key celebration, and since you’re at Arundel Mills, you can make a whole outing of it. Walk-ins are welcome and there’s lots of parking, but it gets really busy on weekends, so I’d book a table through OpenTable to save yourself a wait on a Friday or Saturday. After dinner, I had a blast at the claw machine arcade right at Arundel Mills. Highly recommend paying them a visit if you haven’t been yet.

For big portions, solid quality, and a real sit-down meal near the mall, Copper Canyon Grill is worth a visit. The value’s the whole story here: you can share, you’ll take some home, and it holds up better than most mall-adjacent spots have any right to. Come hungry and book ahead on weekends. And if you love a good rack of ribs, I’ve also got a soft spot for Texas Jack’s Barbecue over in the DMV.
