I love Thai food, and Baltimore seriously has no shortage of amazing spots to choose from. I definitely have my go-tos, but every once in a while, I like to branch out and try somewhere new, and that’s exactly how I ended up at Bodhi Corner for lunch with my mom.
If you’re also into Vietnamese, Pho Bac Baltimore in Canton is a mom-and-pop worth knowing about, with scratch-made pho and bun cha Hanoi that comfort food lovers will want on their radar.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place, so I was excited to finally see what the hype was about… and spoiler alert: it did not disappoint.
What We Ordered
We went with a mix of classics and house favorites, and everything came out flavorful and comforting. We started with the chive dumplings ($9), which were more like chive cakes. They had a chewy center with a beautifully crisp exterior and came served with a sweet soy dipping sauce that tied everything together perfectly.
Next up was the Pad Chinese Broccoli ($15), where we chose chicken as our protein. It was loaded with tender Chinese broccoli tossed in garlic and a savory soybean paste sauce – simple, comforting, and really well executed.
And finally, the Pad Thai ($15): a bit more al dente and saucy than my mom prefers, but I absolutely loved it. The noodles were chewy, the sauce wasn’t overly sweet, and it honestly might be one of my favorite Pad Thais in the city.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go
- They also offer mock duck and mock chicken, which is great for vegetarians
- There’s a second location in Federal Hill
- Street parking was easy to find during weekday lunch
- Their spice rack only includes chili powder, so just a heads-up if you like extra heat
Bodhi Corner is a solid go-to for comforting, flavorful Thai food with great portions. Whether you’re craving noodles, veggie-forward dishes, or something cozy and satisfying, this spot is absolutely worth checking out. Have you been here yet?
