Peter Chang: Beyond Bottomless Dim Sum
‼️FOODIE ALERT‼️ If you’re craving bomb Chinese food in Maryland, you need to RUN to Peter Chang Gaithersburg. They’re already famous for their bottomless dim sum + Chinese tapas deal, but the specialty dishes here are next-level and worth coming back for every time.
What to Order at Peter Chang Gaithersburg
Pan Seared Shrimp Patty – $9
The texture on this was unreal. My mom would LOVE this, and I’m already planning to bring her back just for this one.

Minced Garlic Sweet Potato Sprouts – $18
Harvested from a local farm, these sprouts were a total surprise. Mild, slightly sweet, and earthy with a hint of nuttiness. Delicious with chili sauce and rice.

Home Style Braised Fish Filet – $24
THIS DISH!!! Easily my favorite of the bunch. Sweet, spicy, and perfectly flaky. Even if you don’t normally love braised fish, this one might change your mind. Trust me and get it the next time you go.

Chili Oil Beef Tenderloin Tofu – $29
Spicy lovers, this is for you. Comforting, flavorful, and filled with tender beef + silky tofu. Not burn-your-mouth-off spicy, but the perfect heat level. This will be one of my go-tos this fall/winter.
Creamy Walnut Custard Bun – $8 + Black Sesame Egg Yolk Bao – $9
Bao heaven. The egg yolk bao is a longtime fave, but the walnut custard bun is a must-try too. Don’t make me pick between them because they’re both so good.
