Yay for yummy deals, Nomsters! A while back, Minje and I stopped by B-more Pies and totally lucked out because they were running their Date Night Special: 2 savory slices + 2 sweet slices + 2 drinks for $28. It’s basically the easiest little “try a bunch of things” feast without committing to full pies.
If you’re building a full Baltimore date day, also peek at the Maryland Zoo Penguin Encounter, a paid hands-on experience where you sit with African penguins.
We went half savory, half sweet (aka the best kind of balance). For savory, we started with the Bacon Onion Gruyère Quiche, and it did exactly what a quiche should do: rich, cheesy, and loaded with bacon. It was super tasty and felt like the perfect “brunch-for-dinner” moment.
Next up was the Chicken Pot Pie slice. Flavor-wise, it hit that cozy, comfort-food craving. I will say though, some of the crust was a little harder than I personally prefer. That said, the filling and overall flavor were still really good, and I still enjoyed it.
Then it was time for dessert (my favorite part, obviously). We tried the Berger Cookie Pie because I thought it was going to be my #1… but it ended up being just okay for me. Apparently a lot of people LOVE it, so if you’re a Berger cookie fan, you should absolutely try it and see where you land.
But the true star of the night? Chocolate Chess. OMG. This slice was RIDICULOUSLY good. Think deep, super chocolatey, and the kind of dessert that makes you pause mid-bite like, “wait… why is this so good?!” If you love rich chocolate desserts, consider this a must-order.

Also, quick fun fact: this spot used to be Dangerously Delicious Pies, so if that name sounds familiar, that’s why! Have you been to B-more Pies yet?! Let me know in the comments, Nomsters!
