Angelina’s Pizza & Pasta: My Hanover Delivery Go-To

July 20, 2026

When I want pizza delivered around Hanover, Angelina’s Pizza & Pasta is one of my go-tos. It’s an unfussy neighborhood pizza and pasta spot, and the one thing you need to know going in is that their Margherita comes SUPER garlic heavy (they don’t even mention it in the menu description). I personally love it that way, though I’ll be real (as always), some of you might find it a touch unbalanced. TBH I order the exact same thing every single time, lol, so if you want a budget-friendly, reliable pizza delivery option in the area, let me put you on.

What Angelina’s Pizza & Pasta Is Known For

Angelina’s is the kind of neighborhood pizza and pasta joint where the pizza’s the clear headliner. Their pies lean noticeably garlic-forward, and they round things out with pasta plates and fresh-baked garlic knots. This isn’t a fancy, plan-your-whole-week-around-it destination, and that’s exactly the appeal. It’s the spot you lean on for an easy weeknight when you want a solid pie without a whole production, the sort of place you end up ordering from on repeat because you already know precisely what you’re getting.

If that low-key, budget-friendly Italian-American energy is what you’re after, it reminds me a lot of Gianni’s over in Severn, another affordable neighborhood spot slinging pizza, pasta, and subs where the flavor punches well above the price. What keeps me loyal to Angelina’s isn’t that every single thing on the menu blows me away (it doesn’t, and I’ll get into that below), it’s that the pizza’s consistent and the ordering’s painless. When a spot nails the one thing you actually want from it, that counts for a lot in my book.

What to Order at Angelina’s Pizza & Pasta

Margherita pizza: this is my order every single time, no exceptions, lol. Here’s the thing the menu doesn’t warn you about, it comes SUPER garlic heavy. I’m a garlic person, so I’m all in, but consider yourself warned, if you like a classic, restrained Margherita, this version might read as a little much for you. My advice? Go in expecting a big, bold garlic hit instead of a delicate pie, and you’ll enjoy it way more. It’s basically the pie’s whole personality, and once I clocked that, it became the exact thing I crave when I’m ordering. For me it’s the whole reason I keep coming back, and after this many repeat orders, I clearly haven’t gotten sick of it.

Eggplant Parm ($8.99): this was my first time trying one of their pastas, and I got it with my parents. The portion’s huge and it’s super affordable, so zero complaints on value. That said, it was just ok for me, and I probably wouldn’t order it again. IMO the pizza’s infinitely better, so if you’re deciding between the two, let the pie win. If it’s scratch-made pasta you’re really chasing, that’s more of a Nonna Angela’s in Crofton situation, where the fettuccine’s cooked properly al dente and pasta’s the whole point of the meal.

Garlic knots: full disclosure, I haven’t actually had these yet, but I watched a fresh batch come out of the oven and they looked delish. They’re 100% on my list for next time, and given how garlic-forward everything else here is, I’ve got a feeling they’ll be right up my alley.

Does Angelina’s Pizza & Pasta Deliver in the Hanover Area?

Yes, and that delivery’s the whole reason Angelina’s earned my go-to status. When I don’t feel like leaving the house but I want a solid pie brought to me around Hanover, this is who I call. Delivery pizza lives or dies on whether it still tastes good by the time it reaches your door, and theirs holds up, that garlic-heavy Margherita survives the trip just fine. If your weeknight looks like couch, comfort food, and zero effort, this is a very easy yes. Not every delivery pizza can say that, plenty show up sad and soggy, so a spot that travels well is worth hanging onto once you find it.

Is Angelina’s Good for Feeding a Family?

It is, and I say that as someone who’s shared a meal here with my parents. The portions run generous and the prices stay friendly (that eggplant parm was a huge plate for $8.99), so it’s an easy pick when you’re feeding a few people without wanting to overthink it. Grab a couple of pizzas, add the knots, and you’ve got a low-stress dinner sorted.

Is the Pizza or the Pasta Better at Angelina’s?

The pizza, hands down. I tried both and the pie’s in a completely different league from the eggplant parm, so if you’re only getting one thing here, make it pizza. If you’re someone who likes to plan a whole night around a genuinely great pie, I’d also point you toward Capri Pizza & Sub in Glen Burnie, where the Neapolitan pepperoni and the housemade subs are worth a special trip. But for easy, dependable delivery in the Hanover area, Angelina’s is my default, and the gap between its pizza and its pasta is exactly why I keep my order pizza-first every time.
