I absolutely loved this charming coffee shop in Fulton. If you haven’t been to Sidamo Coffee & Tea yet, you’re seriously missing out. Deke and I stopped in for a quick pick-me-up and ended up staying longer than expected, which honestly feels like the ultimate sign of a good café. The space is warm, welcoming, and the kind of place that makes you want to slow down for a bit.
I also had no idea they’ve been around for 15 years on H Street in DC, which makes this Fulton location even more exciting. I’m really hoping they offer their traditional Ethiopian coffee pot service here too – that’s something I definitely need to experience soon.
When we visited, there were quite a few people working remotely, and it immediately felt like one of those spots where you could easily settle in with your laptop for a few hours. I love finding places like this – sometimes a change of scenery really does wonders for productivity.
FYI: you can also purchase their coffee beans by the bag if you want to enjoy it at home. And in addition to great coffee, they offer sandwiches, smoothies, and salads, making it an easy stop for breakfast, lunch, or a mid-day break. There’s also a nice patio if you prefer to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.
If you’re always on the lookout for cozy cafés or great places to work remotely, this one is absolutely worth checking out. Have you been yet? Let me know what you think, and feel free to drop your favorite coffee spots or remote work locations in the comments.
Another HoCo café worth adding to your list is Cafe June in Ellicott City, where you can grab a croffle, a matcha, and settle into a charming study-friendly space.
